WIZE 'N UP 2026 40 Days of Prayer

Prayer is one of our core values here at Crossroads Community Church. We cannot live this out as a church body without each of us doing our part individually. We invite EVERYONE who calls Crossroads their home to participate in our 40 days of prayer for Wize ‘n Up. The campaign begins June 3, but you can join in at anytime. Daily prayer Prompts:

Scripture: Psalm 86:9-10

Prayer: God, we praise Your great name! We thank You for religious freedom and for a church that invests in our community. Your heart is good and we trust You!

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Prayer: God, we pray that WNU would be an opportunity to partner with other churches in Sheboygan with a common goal of reaching the lost and sharing the love of Christ.

Scripture: Luke 10:2

Prayer: God, we ask that the Holy Spirit would move Your Church to action. Align the hearts of Your Church to step forward and register to serve at WNU.

Scripture: Matthew 13:23

Prayer: Lord, we humbly pray that You would work in hearts to hear and understand the Word. We ask that they would joyfully receive the Good News of Your Son, Jesus!

Scripture: Ephesians 6:11-12

Prayer: Lord, we pray against Satan’s attempts to obscure WNU’s efforts to share Jesus with the community. Please help us to remember that Satan is real, but he is a defeated foe.

Scripture: Isaiah 43:19

Prayer: Lord, we pray for our marketing efforts to be encountered and received by lost families that need the life changing message of Your Son, Jesus.

Scripture: Isaiah 41:20

Prayer: Lord, we pray for wisdom in guiding the drama dialogue, the song selection and choreography, and the visuals that will clearly communicate Your love to people.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6-7

Prayer: Lord, we pray that Your Church would extend personal invitations to their neighbors, friends, family, and others in the community who don’t know You.

Scripture: Romans 10:13-14

Prayer: Lord, we pray for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom in preparing the Gospel message and illustrations. May an unbelievable number of kids turn to You as a result of WNU.

Scripture: Psalm 127:1

Prayer: Lord we are still in need of serving team members for WNU. We pray that You will fill the gaps in serving roles and trust that the right people will come help.

Scripture: Mark 10:14b

Prayer: Lord, we thank you for serving team members who provide toddlers a special version of WNU. Help the little ones to feel safe and to understand the key messages each night.

Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23

Prayer: Father, guide our outdoor games so that they are fun and safe each night. Protect each child and serving team member from any injury because of the games.

Scripture: Psalm 71:8

Prayer: We pray that the worship team learns the lyrics and motions to the worship songs. Create a spirit in each serving team member that humbly gives You glory, Father.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:40

Prayer: We pray for those responsible for administrative details. Allow for smooth operation of the technology that makes sign-ups and background checks possible.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:26

Prayer: Lord, we bring our indoor creative programming team to You. Fill them with wisdom and a cohesive vision to clearly communicate the Gospel message.

Scripture: 1 Peter 3:15

Prayer: Dear God, we lift up those serving team members that do not know You. Soften their hearts during WNU. Allow us to be ready with an answer for the hope in us.

Scripture: Psalm 67:1-2

Prayer: Lord, we give thanks and praise for a location to host WNU. We pray that this would be holy ground for many children and adults to come to know You.

Scripture: Psalm 78:72

Prayer: Holy Spirit, may the area leaders be wholly dependent upon You as they shepherd and disciple the serving team members on their teams with integrity, grace, and humility.

Scripture: Acts 26:18

Prayer: Lord help the drama team make key concepts for the week understandable and memorable. Give them confidence and allow them to connect with the kids in a special way.

Scripture: John 15:7

Prayer: Father, guide us in growing a passionate culture of prayer so that we do not operate out of our own strength, but recognize we are wholly dependent on you.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:14-15

Prayer: Lord, prepare these serving team members mentally and spiritually to help children process the Gospel. Minimize distractions and protect them from the enemy’s attacks.

Scripture: Psalm 145:15

Prayer: Lord, bring serving team members to fill the visible and crucial role of coaching. We pray for servant attitudes as they get to know and love the kids in our community.

Scripture: Acts 2:39

Prayer: Father, move those that received invitation cards to begin to sign up. Stir children to relentlessly remind parents. Keep the church website running smoothly.

Scripture: Matthew 6:33

Prayer: Lord, give wisdom to all serving team members in how they prioritize their upcoming schedules and time. Grant them margin so they are ready and energized to serve at WNU.

Scripture: Psalm 102:18

Prayer: Lord, we lift up this team so they would capture the work You are doing. Guide them to the right shots and angles that reflect the emotion and fun of WNU.

Scripture: 3 John 5:8

Prayer: Lord, provide the kitchen team wisdom in their meal prep and scheduling of serving team members. Give them patience and joy as they serve food to the army of Your saints.

Scripture: Colossians 3:23-24

Prayer: Thank You, God, for those humble servants willing to serve anywhere! Help them to work cheerfully and reward their diligence no matter the assigned task.

Scripture: Psalm 138:7

Prayer: God, we praise You as our Defender and Healer. Protect children during field games. Guard serving team members from injuries. May our first responders be utterly bored!

Scripture: Psalm 91:11

Prayer: We ask, Lord that You prevent discord among all those at WNU. We are thankful for the security team drawn together to help guard the overall safety of WNU.

Scripture: Isaiah 41:10

Prayer: Lord, please give the WNU Tech Team patience and focus. Allow the programs and computers to work seamlessly to help Your servants tell the story of Your glory.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:20

Prayer: God, we pray that this outreach event will spread the word and excitement about WNU. We pray that the WNU cards fall into the hands of the lost families of Sheboygan.

Scripture: Psalm 135:6-7

Prayer: We know that You Lord are fully sovereign over the weather. We have seen Your mighty hand move repeatedly to protect WNU. We humbly ask for beautiful days.

Scripture: Romans 15:5-6

Prayer: God, thank You for the opportunity to serve together. Unite us in our love for You. Shut down gossip and divisiveness so that we extend love toward others.

Scripture: Proverbs 16:3

Prayer: Lord, tomorrow many will gather to pray and focus on final preparations. May we take our mission seriously yet surrender this event and the outcome to You.

Scripture: Matthew 6:16-18

Prayer: Father, many are fasting today for WNU. Give them strength in their weakness. Deepen their faith and allow them to experience Your peace during the day.

Scripture: James 5:16

Prayer: Father, search our hearts and impress upon us the sin we need to confess so that the enemy has no power over us during WNU.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15

Prayer: Lord, give wisdom, boldness, and confidence to our nightly teachers. Give them creative inspiration to ensure Your Word is clearly presented.

Scripture: James 1:5

Prayer: Lord, we lift up Emily and Sherrey to You. Give them wisdom as they lead. Allow them to rest in You rather than be overwhelmed.

Scripture: Exodus 34:10

Prayer: Lord, help the team bring in materials safely. Give them focus so that all technology would function with limited troubleshooting. Protect all from injury.

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

Prayer: Father, give us unity today as dress rehearsals begin. Keep each person healthy and give them sharp minds to recall lines and lyrics flawlessly.
